General & Mission
What is your organization’s core mission?

Our primary purpose is to improve local public health in the St. Louis area by assembling hygiene kits and other medical supplies and distributing them to communities in need. This corporation may also educate future generations about hygiene, health, and other related topics. Through recruiting and training volunteers, holding fundraisers, and engaging with other charitable organizations, it hopes to create meaningful change in the St. Louis area.

Is your non-profit officially tax-exempt?

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are currently awaiting 501(c)(3) approval.

Where can I find financial reports?

We value total transparency, so you can view our annual reports and financial breakdowns directly on our Bylaws Page or request them by emailing hygienify.org@gmail.com.

Donations & Taxes
Are my financial donations tax-deductible?

Yes, all financial contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law in the United States. However, this is only available after our 501(c)(3) application has been approved.

How do I get receipts?

A donation receipt is mailed upon special request. Keep in mind, a receipt may be needed for tax deduction purposes.

Can I donate physical goods?

While we prefer monetary donations, you may choose to donate physical items, such as the ones located on the Programs Page.

Getting Involved
How do I volunteer here?

You must first submit the Google Form on the Volunteer Page to apply and be accepted. Then, you can browse open shifts and sign up instantly through our online Volunteer Portal, after creating an account on our webpage.

Can youth sign up too?

Yes, volunteers under 13 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during their shift.
